Over the past ten years, Global Adventures has traveled, explored and guided in many other destinations in France, Switzerland and Italy. These custom tours can combine skiing La Grave and areas nearby or a completely different region of Europe. Together with our knowledge of the best existing conditions in other areas and your desires, we can design a custom road tour to several areas. Although we do visit the big name resorts, our objective is the lesser-known areas with great off-piste possibilities and less people. There are more "small resorts" that dwarf anything in the US that you can imagine. Enjoy the chauffeured comfort of our deluxe Mercedes 8 passenger van while traveling in the majesty of the Alps. Take the opportunity to visit places like Alagna, Sistrierres, La Thuile, St. Foy, Verbier, Chamonix, Engelberg, Val Thorens, just to name a few For these tours, our guests are met upon arrival and proceed on to our first destination. Upon completion of the tour you will be escorted back to your place of departure, no hassle! If the big names like Val d'Isere or Chamonix are on your dream list, we can help you as well. Heli-ski possibilities in Italy are also a wonderful option on our Italian tours. Imagine yourself sking a 9000' vertical powder run starting at the top of Monte Rosa at over 15,000' overlooking the Matterhorn, descending into Zermatt then over to Cervina and returning to Alagna via Chumpulac and Gressonay. An incredible 150kms are covered in just one day! Spring and summer have always been a good time to visit France. Long known in Europe as one of the best places to vacation and recreate without the crowds, La Grave has it all. While enjoying the magnificent scenery, you can play in the sun at whatever interests you might have. There are great trails for hiking and mountain biking. Several rivers offer kayaking, rafting, canyoning and trout fishing. Incredible granite and limestone rock faces give the area a reputation for some of the best rock climbing in Europe for beginners to experts. Tennis is played in a scenic location along the banks of the Romanche River. This year more of our winter guests returned and were at all the fun, exciting options available. The springtime usually finds us in the Province region of Southern France, where bike tours through the wine region can be broken up by rock climbing and perusing the open markets. As always we are there to guide and direct you to a fun filled holiday throughout your visit. France Les Deux Alps, Alp de' Huez, Serre Chavelier, Mt.
