La Grave is located on route N 91 between Grenoble and Briancon in the Huate Alps Region. Will we ski other resorts? Absolutely. We normally take at least one day trip to another nearby resort during the week. There are three in particular, Serre Chevalier, Les Deux Alps, and Alp Deux Huez, which are huge by American standards and offer some great piste and off-piste skiing. What ability level do I need to be to ski La Grave? Our tours are designed for the advanced to expert skier. You need to be a competent parallel skier on groomed terrain and able to ski ungroomed terrain in all conditions for the entirety of your trip. The better you ski, the more there is to explore.
